THE MAN (4.07 Southwell, nap)

David Egan has struck up a good partnership with Richard Spencer’s three-year-old. He rode him to victory in a big-field handicap at York on comeback in May and we didn’t see him again until last month. That was back on the Knavesmire where he went down in a tight finish for another red-hot contest. He won his sole start on the all-weather over this course and distance on debut last season and goes well fresh. He still looks on a fair mark of 96 and can take another step forward.

BELLARCHI (6.15 Southwell, nb)

Has won here twice and has enjoyed a couple of successes on turf this season. He went close at Thirsk last time and saves his best for this distance.

ARKENSTAAR (4.13 Hamilton, treble)

Came home with a late rattle to win here last time despite missing the break. He’ll be right on the premises again.

ELIZA DOOLITTLE (4.20 Plumpton, Lucky 15)

Scored here last time out in April and is back from just 2lb higher.
