MY FRIEND SEAN (2.20 Chepstow, nap)

He was in sparkling form to win back-to-back contests at Uttoxeter without breaking sweat. He then went to Lingfield where he was on the front end much too soon and just ran out of juice in the closing stages. It was still a good effort to finish third and the first two home have come out and franked the form since.

KADO DE JOIE (4.30 Ludlow, nb)

He has been in excellent form this season and won his first two outings under James Bowen. Nico De Boinville took over at Wincanton last time where he was asked to come from too far back. He was a close-up fifth with petrol left in the tank. Bowen gets back on board today and can time his challenge better from what still looks a fair handicap mark.

SIBERIAN STAR (3.10 Sedgefield, treble)

He enjoyed returning to chases last time when beaten in a tight finish at Doncaster. He sees out this testing trip strongly and is just 2lb higher than his last victory. This looks a good chance for another win.

UNSPEAKABLE (2.55 Chepstow, Lucky 15)

Has been running well without getting his just desserts. He was an excellent second at Taunton last time when the trip just stretched him a little. He’s back off the same mark and down in distance.
