COPPER JACK (4.40 Ffos Las, nap)

Looked a different horse when winning on handicap debut at Chepstow last time. Today’s 5lb claiming rider Callum Pritchard didn’t have to get serious on him as he had eight lengths in hand crossing the line. The handicapper has shunted him up 9lb but he looks ahead of that and is hard to beat.

TREMORGIO (3.45 Southwell, nb)

This son of Dubawi streaked home to score by two lengths on debut at Newmarket last time. That was in October and he came back in February to scoot in over this course and distance. That was despite meeting plenty of trouble in running and he can step up again.

TARA ITI (4.27 Plumpton, treble)

Is rarely out of the frame and was a good second again at Sedgefield last time. The handicapper has left his mark alone and the first-time visor could give him another little boost.

PALAWAN DU MAZET (5.15 Ffos Las, Lucky 15)

He didn’t show a lot over hurdles but took a giant leap forward when getting off the mark on chase debut at Taunton 61 days ago. The second home in that race has franked the form by winning twice since and he can defy a 7lb hike in the handicap.
