TEMPLEGATE takes on Sunday’s racing confident of beating the bookies.

Back a horse by clicking their odds below.

INDIAN SPRINGS (2.30 Doncaster, nap)

Can land a hat-trick for Charlie Appleby. This son of Too Darn Hot has come on in leaps and bounds this season, winning both his starts with the minimum of fuss. He was impressive on comeback at Newmarket and April and had a break before dotting up at Haydock in July. He clearly goes well fresh so it’s a plus that he’s been off another 72 days since then and he looks too strong under the excellent Billy Loughnane.

ZAMBEZI MAGIC (2.00 Bath, nb)

Loved getting back on testing ground at Ffos Las last week – sluicing home by an easy 10 lengths. He is back out again quickly under a 4lb penalty and will be hard to stop if showing anything like the same form with the ground ideal again.

DRUMCONDRA (4.00 Musselburgh, treble)

Was just edged out in a photo here last time and this race looks no tougher. He should be right there.

NIGHTSINWHITESATIN (1.55 Doncaster, Lucky 15)

She is improving with every run and followed a Nottingham win with a game success at Newbury last time. A 3lb rise gives her every chance of landing the hat-trick.

Templegate’s Curragh verdicts

1.30

SIR LES PATTERSON was carrying top weight when only having his second run of the summer at York last time.

He should strip fitter now, we know he gets the trip and takes a handy 3lb off courtesy of claimer Jamie Powell.

Ollie Sangster works wonders with his two and three-year-olds and Tuco Salamanca looks poised to keep improving off a mark of 93.

Kendall Roy ran really well at York last time, too, and looks to have a big pot in him under Colin Keane.

2.05

Karl Burke can do no wrong at the moment and he sends ALPARSLAN over to try to land this bumper six-figure cheque.

He won by five lengths on good to firm on debut but his pedigree suggests this extended six furlong trip should be well within his reach even if the ground turns a little soft.

Fellow British trainer Richard Hannon saddles big outsider Uncertainty.

But this filly saw the form of her third to Gwen John at Windsor last month boosted when she went close in a Class 2 at Donny.

Gold Cup-winning trainer Gavin Cromwell’s Joyful Tiding was well punted when scoring on debut over five furlongs at Tipperary in April.

He still could be anything but the fact he hasn’t raced since is a bit of a concern, as is the step up in trip.

2.40

COMPOSING has been all class since breaking her maiden here, landing the Silver Flash and Debutante in fine style.

She travels like a dream and finds plenty and her extra experience can see her confirm her position as one of the season’s leading fillies.

Beautify looked a serious prospect in the Airlie Stud Stakes and rates the biggest threat, while Precise is progressing at a rate of knots and should be running on late.

Pivotal Attack looked a natural when blitzing her Galway maiden and is an intriguing player stepping up.

Venetian Sun is unbeaten and adds huge spice and she’ll push the selection all the way.

3.15

ASFOORA lit up York when scorching home in the Nunthorpe and the flying Australian mare looks hard to stop if reproducing that sparkle.

She has the raw pace for 5f and isn’t ground dependent.

Bucanero Fuerte is a proper sprinter who dug deep to win the Phoenix Sprint here and is a huge threat if getting his own way.

Night Raider ran a stormer in the Nunthorpe and could be dangerous dropped back to this sharp 5f, while Art Power is a standing dish at the Curragh and won’t be far away.

Arizona Blaze is talented but needs to bounce back from a flop.

3.50

GSTAAD has looked the real deal from the moment he bolted up at Royal Ascot and his narrow defeat in the Prix Morny only enhanced his reputation.

He travelled like the best horse that day and just failed to reel in a smart rival, so this extra furlong should be perfect.

Aidan O’Brien has a fine record in this and Christophe Soumillon will fancy his chances of adding to it.

Zavateri comes here chasing a four-timer and showed guts to land the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood.

He’s progressing quickly and could be the one to make Gstaad pull out all the stops.

Don’t dismiss Italy, who has already shown Group form and has a rock-solid profile.

North Coast could be anything, while Dorset could be in here to cut out the pace.

4.25

ILLINOIS has already shown he belongs at the top table, having struck in Group company earlier this season and he is still on the up.

A strapping son of Galileo, he looked very smart when powering away in the Ballysax at Leopardstown and lost little in defeat afterwards in deeper waters.

His ability to travel strongly before lengthening late makes him ideally suited to the Curragh, and stepping back up in trip should allow him to use that relentless gallop to full effect.

This looks the stage for him to reassert his Group 1 claims.

The unbeaten Amiloc is an obvious danger given the way he knuckled down at Royal Ascot and he’s had a break since.

Waldadler adds an intriguing German angle with proven Listed form, and Tarima is still progressing for Dermot Weld.

Al Riffa looks a big threat for Joseph O’Brien after his excellent Curragh Cup win here last time.

5.00

ONE LOOK has already proven herself a cut above in this grade and looked right back on song when powering home in the Meadow Court Stakes over course and distance last time.

A classy filly with a sharp turn of foot, she has the perfect blend of gears and stamina for this test, and the Curragh clearly brings out the best in her.

She’s twice a winner here already and the way she finished last time suggested she’s still improving.

Red Letter is the obvious danger after a smooth display in the Snow Fairy Stakes, where she picked up stylishly to score with authority.

Juddmonte’s grey has the pedigree to keep climbing the ladder.

Naomi Lapaglia arrives off a Listed success at Gowran and has an each-way shout, while Snellen has the form to play a part if things fall right.

5.35

CROWN OF OAKS has rightly been hammered in for William Haggas and looks a potential superstar after his demolition job at Ascot last time.

We know this Curragh trip is spot on and if he runs anything like he has winning the past twice he will be unbeatable.

With a lot of money still available for the places expect Frankel gelding Sujet, big class dropper Rock Of Cashel and confirmed stayer Shaool to be battling it out.
