He has been knocking on the door and went down in a photo finish at Wolverhampton last time. He finished strongly there and this is a drop in grade from that conquest. He sees out this mile strongly and a repeat of that last effort would be good enough.
STAR VANTAGE (4.00 Musselburgh, nb)
He is long overdue a win and this looks an excellent chance. He has improved with every run this season and was a good second at Southwell last time with a decent gap back to the field.
BRAVETHEWAVES (3.30 Musselburgh, treble)
Took just two chases to score at Catterick last time. He had plenty left in the tank and should be capable of following up from a fair 6lb higher in the handicap.
