FRANKIES DREAM (1.40 Lingfield, nap)

He has gone close twice since winning at Wolverhampton 20 days ago. His latest effort at Newcastle on Tuesday saw him come flying at the finish only for the line to come a few strides too soon. Joey Haynes was on board when he scored at Dunstall Park and he is back in the saddle today. This trip is ideal and he’s still only 3lb higher than that victory which gives him a big say.

SALT ROCK (12.55 Doncaster, nb)

This £205,000 buy took a major step forward on his first spin over fences at Hereford last month. He kept on strongly to score over two miles and this longer distance should be ideal.

DASH GORDON (4.03 Lingfield, treble)

Is one of many horses to improve for moving to Mick Appleby. He was third at Newcastle on debut for current connections before finding more to score at Southwell nine days ago. This is another weak contest over his favourite distance and there’s every chance of following up.

GEORGE’S LAD (12.25 Doncaster, Lucky 15)

Trainer Emma Lavelle is in excellent form and her five-year-old was a good second at Huntingdon last time. Harry Cobden stays on board and it won’t take much more to get off the mark.
