Paramedics responded to reports of a cardiac arrest at Hogan’s $11.5 million home in Clearwater, Florida, on Thursday morning.
He was treated by first responders at the scene and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Hogan’s death comes just a month after the wrestling legend was reported to be on his deathbed and suffering from a series of health issues that left him unable to feel his legs.
Just days before Hogan’s death, his ex-wife Linda Hogan, who he was married to until 2009, shared a throwback picture of the couple at a convention in 1996.
In the picture, Linda stunned in a black dress as the couple embraced.
Hogan wore his iconic red and yellow Hulkster WCW costume, including his Hogan bandana over his bleach-blond hair, red pants, and yellow tank top.
“The good old days,” Linda wrote in the now-heartwrenching caption.
In the comments, fans gushed over the memories and said that they were praying for Hogan to recover from his health battle.
Hogan’s death came after years of health struggles exacerbated by his hard lifestyle of weight training and brawling in the WWE ring.
Just last month, he was hospitalized for neck and back pain, sparking rumors that he was on his deathbed.
But despite his struggles, representatives maintained that the star was healthy and merely recovering from procedures.
On Tuesday, Hogan’s close personal friend and former manager Jimmy Hart gave a health update on X, saying, “Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal!
“Last night at karaoke with Nick was absolutely fantastic, baby!”
