He is alleged to have been involved in dealing the Class A drug in Dundee.

Court papers revealed he’s also been charged with possessing cocaine and cannabis.

He was arrested in Balmoral Gardens in the city last week.

He’s been in custody since Thursday and made his first appearance in front of a beak.

He made no plea or declaration and was released on bail.

His girlfriend and other pals turned up to court.

The case was held in private before Sheriff George Way.

Stephen Stewart, 50, and Victoria McGowan are his co-accused and face the same charges. They were also bailed.

McGowan is also alleged to have breached bail, which was granted last year.

El-Nakla’s older sister Nadia, 39, is married to Humza Yousaf.

She is the spokeswoman for alcohol and drugs on Dundee City Council.

At the weekend she refused to talk about her sibling’s arrest.

She said: “I don’t have any comment just now. Let’s see what happens in the next few days.”
