POLICE are hunting a ‘suspicious’ man who approached a schoolgirl in Staffordshire last week.
The incident occurred in Sneyd Green, Stoke-on-Trent at 8.05am on Thursday May 22 as the girl was walking to school.

The girl’s mother reported the incident to the police and warned other parents on social media.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports that a schoolgirl had been approached by a man acting suspiciously.
“Enquiries are ongoing to trace the man, who was described as Asian, 5ft 5in tall, and in his late 30s. He was wearing a purple t-shirt and black trousers.”
The police have urged witnesses, or anyone with information about the man, to contact them on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
