In his first year as a professional player, the 18-year-old won a series of titles and was crowned Premier League Darts champion.
He ended the incredible term with his first world title after beating close rival Michael van Gerwen 7-3 at Ally Pally.
Littler’s incredible form has continued this year and he is currently on a 14-game winning streak.
Following his World Championship victory, the Nuke has won two Premier League Darts nights, the UK Open and the Belgian Open.
And now he has offered fans an insight into the psychology behind his incredible performances.
Littler said: “If the first few legs go on and I get that two-to-three leg gap, I can see opponents throwing their darts away.
“Their heads are gone, and that’s when I can put pressure on them.
“That spurs me on because if they get their head down then I know that I’ve got them.”
The teenager went on to add: “The hunger is in myself. You want to go and win everything.”
Littler is next in action on Thursday for night six of Premier League Darts in Nottingham.
He will face Luke Humphries in the quarter-finals.
