A WOMAN has told of her terrifying near-death experience after one of the world’s most dangerous snakes bit her.
Janice Tayler from Perth, Australia left her bowling club one day, felt a “sharp prick” and only hours later was fighting for her life in hospital.

In a new interview, the mother recalled the events on that fateful day in 2016.
She explained that the bite had felt like nothing more than a “spider bite or bee sting” and she got in her car to drive home.
Only hours later, she told 9News: “My head was spinning, my brain was spinning, I couldn’t move my legs.”
Her face became a mess of purple and red as her skin began to badly bruise.
Janice was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery, with doctors first believing it was a problem with her heart.
In fact, the deadly venom was wreaking havoc throughout her body, thinning her blood and causing her face to bleed.
“Then they started to panic,” she said.
Janice believed she would “die” as doctors deliberated over the cause of her sudden health deterioration.
“At 5am they said to me do you want us to call your kids because we don’t know if you’ll be talking to them in 20 minutes,” she remembered.
Several hours passed before they released it was a snake bite and were forced to guess what type of slithery monster was responsible.
They took a calculated risk on a brown snake – the second most deadly of all land snakes in the world – and administered the anti-venom.
Their gamble paid off.
“She was very lucky to survive,” said Dr Michael Gannon, from the Australian Medical Association.
Terrifying footage of Janice after the incident revealed the damage the venom had done to her body.
It had been a week and her face and arms were still coated in deep purple bruises and scars and one of her eyes still did not open.
Janice’s shocking tale comes as nature lovers have been issued a deadly warning after a married couple were brutally killed by a bear.
The pair were walking their dog at the Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada when the monster attacked.
Meanwhile, a neighbourhood in Florida has been terrorized by a crocodile that devoured a pet dog.
