WHEN Lea Collins told her date she wasn’t in the mood for sex, she expected him to roll over and go to sleep.
But evil Harvey Blyth, 21, had other ideas.

Despite Lea telling him “no” four times, he forced himself on the 22-year-old and raped her.
Afterwards, when Lea refused to see Blyth again, he sent her a video on Snapchat of them having sex that he’d secretly recorded weeks earlier.
Brave Lea, from Swansea, informed the police and at trial, it emerged Blyth had videos of boys aged between 10 and 14 being sexually abused.
His grim search history also revealed he’d looked up sinister phrases including “is rape okay”, “paedo rapes kids” and “naked five year old”.
In March this year Blyth was jailed for seven years with an extra three to be served on licence for stalking, rape and disclosing a private video against Lea.
Now Lea is waiving her anonymity to encourage other survivors of abuse to speak out and report their attackers.
She says: “What Harvey did was sickening. He didn’t care that I wasn’t consenting to sex that night.
“When I discovered he was a paedophile as well as a rapist, he made my skin crawl. He should never be released.”
Lea was working in a pub when she met BlythHotSpot Media
Lea met Blyth in February 2022 while working as a waitress in a pub.
She recalls: “Harvey was having drinks with friends and we were flirting and having a laugh, so I wrote my number on his receipt.
“The next day he texted and we went on a date.”
The pair hit it off and started seeing each other, although Lea made it clear she wasn’t looking for anything serious.
Later that week they went to a house party at a friend of Lea’s and slept together.
The following day they went for drinks and ended up back at Lea’s house in the early hours.
Lea says: “I was tired, so went to bed.
“Harvey got into bed and started kissing me and pawing at my body, and I told him, ‘I’m not in the mood, I’m too tired’.
“But he carried on trying to initiate sex. Fed up, I turned over on my side.”

Suddenly Blyth grabbed Lea by the shoulder and flipped her onto her back before climbing on top of her.
Lea recalls: “He straddled me and opened my legs. I must’ve told him ‘no’ at least four times, but it didn’t matter.
“He forced himself inside me. I was horrified. I fought against him until I managed to kick him off the bed.
“He was angry and called me a s***.”

Afterwards, while Lea pretended to be asleep, Blyth masturbated on her.
The next morning Lea told him to leave.
Two days later, after ignoring his texts, Lea received a video from him on Snapchat of them having consensual sex earlier that week.
“I had no idea he’d filmed me,” she says. “I was disgusted and called the police.”
Blyth was arrested but denied the charges and was bailed.
Meanwhile, Lea’s colleagues at work had seen the sex video.

She says: “I was humiliated. I had a pink streak in my hair, so there was no denying it was me.”
Two months later, while she awaited trial, Blyth bombarded Lea with vile messages on Facebook.
He told her: “Don’t worry I deleted the video out of shame because I was banging a fat retard” and finished another with “die fatty”.
Lea felt forced to move out of the area and quit her job.
Eventually Blyth pleaded guilty to disclosing a private video and stalking, but was later convicted at trial of raping Lea.
At his sentencing Lea discovered that when police seized his phone, they discovered videos of boys between 10 and 14 being sexually abused.

Lea says: “Discovering he was a paedophile made me nearly vomit. He is truly sick in the head.”
Blyth was convicted of making – that is possessing – indecent images of Category A, possession of extreme pornography, and racially aggravated disorder against a police officer.
He was also convicted of rape after pleading guilty to stalking and disclosing a private video against Lea.
The judge handed Blyth a 10-year extended licence at Swansea Crown Court.
Lea says: “I’m relieved he’s now behind bars. He’s a monster and I want women to know his face and avoid him like the plague.”

Familiarise yourself with the Silent Solution, reporting abuse without speaking down the phone, instead dialing “55”.
Always keep some money on you, including change for a pay phone or bus fare.
If you suspect your partner is about to attack you, try to go to a lower-risk area of the house – for example, where there is a way out and access to a telephone.
Avoid the kitchen and garage, where there are likely to be knives or other weapons. Avoid rooms where you might become trapped, such as the bathroom, or where you might be shut into a cupboard or other small space.
