THE existence of aliens has been a long debated theory – but some believe we may have been victims of supernatural beings without even realising.
Among the most infamous so-called abduction cases include the New York housewife Linda Napolitano and British twin Philip Kinsella who both say they were snatched by aliens in the same year.

Linda shocked the world with her “abduction of the century” when she claimed aliens beamed her up from her Manhattan bedroom in November 1989.
The housewife’s story was corroborated by 23 people who allegedly saw her fly over the Brooklyn Bridge.
In 2013, she told Vanity Fair: “If I was hallucinating, then the witnesses saw my hallucination.”
And in 2022, Linda’s shocking story was turned into a hit Netflix show called The Manhattan Alien Abduction.
Extra-terrestrial life, life that does not originate from Earth, is yet to be scientifically proven.
But Linda is not the only alleged alien abductee to come forward with chilling details about a strange encounter with otherworldly beings.
Brit Philip Kinsella claimed he was abducted by “reptilian” aliens in 1989 when he was abruptly awoken at his Bedfordshire home in the middle of the night.
The clairvoyant said he was levitated and moved through the rooms in his home before he was strapped naked onto a board and claims a probe was put inside him.
Phillip spoke exclusively to The Sun about that terrifying night but also revealed six chilling signs that could mean you have had an eerie alien encounter – and not even known.
Talking about the first time he set eyes on the alien figure, he told The Sun: “That image was the most rawest, that I will never forget, was their faces.
“They looked like dinosaurs, but they were reptilian, about seven to eight feet tall.”
Philip and his twin brother Ronald claimed to have had four spooky encounters with UFOs including spotting “three white hovering objects” on camera in 2016.
Although Philip remembers his alleged alien encounter, he revealed that most people supposedly have their memories wiped by the extraterrestrial creatures.
Here are six eerie signs that you could have been abducted without even knowing, according to abductee Phillip.
An unusual bump under the skin
Philip revealed that aliens allegedly leave implants in humans they have visited, and they are about the size of a grain of rice.
He added that he didn’t know what the device did, but it was covered in “organic tissue, so it’s not rejected by the organ, by the body itself”.
He added: “Sometimes they’re very tiny, very small, and they have kind of like a very hard, not metallic, but kind of like strange structure.”
Philip said his alleged implant was behind his ear and he had had it in his body for two years.
The apparent abductee gave tips on how people might be able to spot signs of these apparent implants.

These could include an itch or a general problem area – and he also claimed that they appeared on X-rays.
American actress Fran Drescher claimed in 2012 that aliens abducted her and implanted a chip in her hand – and the same happened to her producer husband Peter Marc Jacobson.
Drescher told Huffington Post: “We both have this scar. It’s the exact same scar on the exact same spot.”
Unexplained nosebleeds
Philip said one of the main physical symptoms he faced after his alleged alien abduction was nosebleeds.
He claimed he suffered from “awful” bleeds for two years after the incident.
He told The Sun: “I suffered profuse nosebleeds to the right nostrils. It got to the stage where it became very embarrassing.
“I could be sitting on the train, and then it would just start to pour, and the doctors were going to cauterise that.”
Similarly, Linda claimed she woke up with a nosebleed after her first alleged alien encounter – and a strange bump on the side of her nose.
Unusual marks on the skin
Philip revealed he was left with three triangle marks on the back of his right ear after the alleged alien encounter.
He believes marks could be left as part of the alleged implantation device ritual – with parts of human flesh used to cover the implant.

Recalling random memories
Philip claimed potential alien abductees might not remember their shock encounter, especially if their memory was wiped, but pieces of the experience might creep back.
The UFO researcher explained some people might experience “screen memory” where past experiences “surface deep from the subconscious mind to the conscious mind”.
Philip added: “Some people will have fractured memories coming forward, but the memories are not just like dreams.
“They will actually feel with them.”
Alien-hunters discover new ‘signs of life’
RESEARCHERS have reportedly discovered signals of life on far-off planets.
A new clue from exoplanets – beyond our solar system – has teased the existence of aliens on a distant world.
Gases, which can be detected in the atmosphere of exoplanets, have sparked interest among researchers at the University of California, Riverside.
These gases are “rarely considered in the search for extraterrestrials”, scientists said.
Researchers said the the James Webb Space Telescope would be able to detect a group of gases called methyl halides.
On Earth, they’re mostly produced by bacteria, marine algae, fungi, and some plants.
Exoplanets that look like Earth are too “small and dim” to be spied by the JWST this piece of space hardware would need to look for bigger exoplanets that orbit small red stars.
These Hycean planets would have deep world-spanning oceans and thick atmospheres made up of hydrogen.
Humans wouldn’t be able to live on these worlds – but alien microbes could “thrive”.
Scientists believe we should be searching for these methyl halides when looking for signs of life.
Michaela Leung, a planetary scientist at UCR, said: “Oxygen is currently difficult or impossible to detect on an Earth-like planet.
“However, methyl halides on Hycean worlds offer a unique opportunity for detection with existing technology.”
Becoming more psychic and creative
Philip told The Sun that people who have experienced the alleged alien abductions can become more imaginative after the event.
The clairvoyant revealed how his “traumatic” experience shaped the way he now thinks.
He said: “So people will also have their minds opened, or another aspect to their mind open. So I became psychic. So, did they instigate that?
“Did the trauma of that open that up in my mind? I don’t know. I couldn’t tell you so.
“It’s very interesting, but it was very traumatic and very shocking for me.”
Academic research has shown that alleged alien abductees appear to have a different psyche compared to others.
A 2008 study found they had higher levels of paranormal beliefs and experiences – and self-reported psychic abilities.
Missing time
The alleged victim claimed people could experience some time loss, where they are missing some minutes or hours from their day.
Philip claimed abductees have their memory wiped by the aliens, leading to gaps in their recollection.
He said: “This happens quite a lot, and occasionally there’s missing time as well, too. They will miss time.”
Despite this, Philip said he remembered the alleged events, calling them “raw” and “savage”.
The same experience of “missing time” happening to four students – Jack Weiner, Jim Weiner, Chuck Rak, and Charlie Foltz – in Maine in the US when they spotted a bright light.
And it wasn’t until years later in hypnosis sessions that they relived an alleged alien abduction – and described the same events individually.
Another infamous case is Barney and Betty Hill – an American couple who claimed they were abducted in New Hampshire in 1961.
When questioned, they could recall almost nothing about a certain period of time during the encounter.
Although the exact number of alleged alien abductees in uncertain, a study suggests that up to six per cent of the population believe it’s happened to them.
