MIKE TYSON has revealed how his ring return against Floyd Mayweather has come to be.
A shock showdown between the boxing legends was announced earlier this month, much to the dismay of many purists.

The duo, 59 and 48 respectively, will throw down in an exhibition bout early next year – the location of which has yet to be revealed.
The stipulations for the maligned melee between Hall of Famers have also not yet been revealed.
Tyson returned to the ring last November for a crossover clash with Jake Paul but left the door open for another fight after his decision defeat to the YouTuber.
But he didn’t go looking for a fight with Mayweather, whom he’s traded verbal jabs with down the years.
He told rapper Fat Joe at a Hard Rock Bet VIP event: “I was minding my own business.
“I wasn’t bothering nobody. He just wanted to pick a fight.”
Former undisputed heavyweight champion Tyson will earn a second straight big payday for his so-called fight with ‘Money‘ Mayweather.
And the New Yorker has no shame in admitting that their joust is nothing more than a cash grab.

When asked if Mayweather encouraged him to work together so they could get the ‘bag’, Tyson replied: “I guess the bag is involved.”
Tyson was left stunned by former five-weight world champion Mayweather’s desire to trade heavy leather with him.
He said: “This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen.
“However, boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable, and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets.
“I still can’t believe Floyd wants to really do this.
“It’s going to be detrimental to his health, but he wants to do it, so it’s signed and it’s happening!”

Mayweather said: “I’ve been doing this for 30 years and there hasn’t been a single fighter that can tarnish my legacy.
“You already know that if I am going to do something, it’s going to be big and it’s going to be legendary.

“This exhibition will give the fans what they want.”
