A MANCHESTER UNITED Treble winner is now making more history with his hometown non-league club in the FA Cup.
This former midfielder, 44, spent three years at Old Trafford after being snapped up by Sir Alex Ferguson from York City.

Although his appearances were sparse at United, he did feature alongside legendary names such as David Beckham, Gary Neville and Roy Keane.
And due to the suspensions of Keane and Paul Scholes, he was named on the bench for their epic 2-1 win over Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final – although he was an unused sub.
This star then left United in 2001 to get more regular football and joined Middlesbrough.
The 5ft 11ins ace, who was born in Scarborough, then spent a further nine seasons starring in the Premier League, racking up 252 appearances in England’s top flight for the likes of Boro, Fulham and West Brom.
After dropping down to the Championship with Nottingham Forest, a loan spell at Barnsley followed before he moved into non-league in 2014.
He spent a season at Yorkshire outfit Tadcaster Albion then briefly headed back to York City before returning to Taddy in the Northern Premier League Division One North and eventually retiring in 2017.
The man in question is, of course, none other than Jonathan Greening – and he looks completely unrecognisable nowadays.
After gaining some coaching experience during his latter playing days, he then took over as Scarborough Athletic manager in 2021 and guided them to promotion from the Northern Premier League.

Greening, who married wife Anna in 2002 and has daughter Sydney, 22, and sons Troy, 18, and Travis, 14 with her, is now hitting the headlines again.
Even though he was not part of United’s ‘99 FA Cup Final squad, his appearance earlier in the competition was enough to secure him a medal.
And it is in the world’s most-famous knockout cup competition that he is writing a new chapter to his already-incredible story.
He led the 2007 phoenix club Scarborough Athletic to a 3-2 win over Oxford City, who play in the National League division above them, to seal a place in the FA Cup First Round for the first time in their history.
The sixth tier outfit, who are currently 12th in the National League North, are now looking forward to hosting League Two side Forest Green Rovers in the next round on Saturday 4 November.
Speaking after the victory over Oxford City last week, Greening said: “The challenge now is to take that level of performance into league games because we need to start climbing the table.
“And then we look forward to playing the FA Cup first round for the first time in the club’s history.
“The boys are absolutely buzzing and we look forward to welcoming Forest Green Rovers to the Flamingo Land Stadium, so let’s beat them!”
