Now urban explorers who poke around the property have been told they are putting themselves at risk — as well as breaking the law.

Cops were alerted to a video as it was live-streamed on YouTube last month.

Martin’s spokesman and pal Malcolm Starr said yesterday: “These people have no right to be trespassing and they have got to be careful.

“What happens if you get another incident like the one that happened to Tony?

“Tony had a lot of people trespassing before. At the time, he considered himself under siege.

“I have not spoken to him about this particular incident, but I think it would irritate him more than anything else.”

The explorers broke into Bleak House, Emneth Hungate, Norfolk, on October 26, filming artefacts including fan-mail that Martin, 78, got while behind bars.

He shot dead Fred Barras, 16, and wounded Brendan Fearon, 29, in August 1999 after they broke in.

Bachelor Martin was jailed for life for murder in 2000.

He had his sentence reduced on appeal to five years for manslaughter and was released in 2003.

But he never returned to live in the farmhouse.

He has revealed that he prefers to live with friends or sleep in his car as he fears he will react violently should he be burgled again.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said: “We were made aware of a live stream video on social media from inside the building which is derelict and insecure.

“No criminal offences have been identified. Trespass is a civil matter.”
