And they’ve done everything you would want to do to escape the wretched UK weather.

They’ve lapped up the winter sun with some relaxing days on the beach.

They have also indulged their sense of adventure – ziplining in the jungle and riding on quad bikes.

Their stay at the four star Holistika hotel in Tulum, where guests can relax at the wellness retreat, has given them the perfect chance to unwind.

What they’ve done

Scott regularly shares her jet-set lifestyle with her 1.9 million followers on Instagram.

Her New Year’s trip to Mexican town Tulum, famed for its beaches and well-preserved ruins of an ancient Mayan port city, has seemingly been a hit.

The TV presenter, 39, and her singer girlfriend Glynne, 34, have made the most of their time there, posting details from their trip on social media.

There’s been plenty of time for sand and sea, with the two donning their bikinis and soaking up the 27C heat.

Scott showed off her toned abs in an olive bikini, which she wore underneath a patterned co-ord set.

While Jess stunned in a black and white bikini that left little to the imagination.

The pair appeared to laugh at something on Jess’ phone, with the singer also helping out partner Alex with her hair.

And they managed to stay cool by sipping on some tasty drinks while lying back in the sun.

But, it’s their sense of daring that sets them apart from celebrity couples on their holidays.

These two have been all-action, mixing up chilling with high-octane activity.

They shared snaps diving in caves, quad-biking along tree-lined paths and ziplining across the jungle.

Clips on Alex’s Instagram story showed them plunging into crystal-clear blue water inside a cave.

She was also seen roaring along on a quad-bike – with Jess waving excitedly at the back – as they pass thick foliage.

And their smiles were just as big when they put on helmets to zip-line above giant trees in the jungle.

Where they are staying

Tulum is found on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula.

It makes it the perfect spot for some warm winter weather, with temperatures exceeding 27 degrees this time of year.

Alex and Jess’s choice of resort says a lot about what they were looking for to end 2023 on a high.

They are staying at the four star Holistika Hotel, that sells itself as a magical jungle retreat centre.

It’s 24 rooms are found  in the middle of the jungle, some intended to be Art Deco Tropical Places.

It prides itself on its wellness services, including its amazing yoga classes, massage services and more.

While the Tierra restaurant promises “healthy plant-based meals infused with the best ingredients, local ingredients, and love”.

Alternatively, there’s a jungle art walk, which the loved-up duo took on.

How much does it cost?

There are plenty of ways to recreate Alex and Jess’s experience, and it won’t cost you an arm or a leg.

Holistika wants to make it all-inclusive and encourage a community spirit.

For that reason, they have a dormitory that can occupy up to 12 people – bunk bed style.

That costs around £78-per-night, which is called the beehive experience and attracts travellers all-year round.
