MANCHESTER UNITED star Andre Onana might be a goalkeeper, but it’s his wife Melanie Kamayou who is the keeper in their relationship.
Onana, 29 and Melanie were first spotted with each other back in 2019 and have been married for over two years.

The pair tend to keep their life away from the football pitch private, but often share glimpses into their romance on social media.
But things got very public for Melanie this week as reports emerged that she had been robbed of her £62,000 Hermes Birkin bag and a Rolex watch last month.
Melanie had her high-value bling snatched outside an Italian restaurant in Cheshire on March 29.
Liam Ross, 25, from the Wibsey area of Bradford, has been charged with the high-value robbery, the Daily Mail reports.
The alleged thief is claimed to have taken the ultra-luxury designer goods in the heart of the picturesque Cheshire village.
Ross appeared before Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, also facing a charge of supplying cannabis.
He’s due back in court at Chester Crown Court in May.

Melanie was first spotted alongside Onana at the 2019 Ballon d’Or ceremony, where the then-Ajax star finished seventh in the standings for the Yashin Trophy – an award for the best goalkeeper of the year.
Since then the pair have regularly featured on each other’s Instagram pages and Melanie has been supporting Onana across four different countries.
The social media star and model has been in the stands supporting Onana at Ajax in the Netherlands, Inter Milan in Italy, Manchester United in England and away on international duty for Cameroon.
The couple now live in Alderley Edge, a magnet for Premier League stars past and present, nicknamed the “Knightsbridge of the North”.

Tying the knot
Melanie and Onana appeared to have tied the knot back in 2023, with Melanie sharing snaps in her wedding dress on social media in February of the same year.
Pictures from the special day show that they were married at five-star Paris hotel The Penninsula.
Melanie, who referred to February as ‘the month of love’, wore a dazzling bejeweled dress for the wedding.
Reports have also suggested that the pair have a son together, but neither Melanie or Onana have shared pictures of their kid online and have chosen to keep him out of the limelight for now.

Life away from football
It can be easy for the life of a WAG to be swept up by football, but Melanie has made a name for herself in a completely different field.
Known professionally as Dr. Melanie Kamayou, the self-proclaimed businesswoman and philanthropist earned a degree in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in the United States.
After receiving her doctoral, she posted on Instagram: “Today marks the accomplishment of a long journey and the beginning of a new adventure.
“I am thankful to everyone who made it possible. I pray that this accomplishment may be the foundation for even greater and more success.”
As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Melanie also works as a model and has built herself a social media empire.
She boasts a whopping nearly 72,000 followers on Instagram.
While she also works as the co-chair for Onana’s charity supporting children – the Andre Onana Foundation.

Pharm from ideal
Melanie and Onana did have to go through some turbulence together in 2021 when the goalkeeper was wrapped up in a doping controversy.
While still at Ajax, Onana was found to have taken banned substance furosemide and slapped with a year-long ban by Uefa.
However, that ban was reduced to just nine months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) after he insisted he accidentally took one of Melanie’s pregnancy medicine pills instead of a headache tablet.
In an interview with The Players’ Tribune Onana said: “A lot of people saw the headlines. ‘Onana? Oh, he got banned for taking drugs. He’s a cheat, an addict’.
“Even after everything that came out — the CAS statement and the rest — it’s a stain on my name.”
Melanie stood by Onana throughout that period and the pair still remain strong to this day.
