But after Dubois finally did arrive, fears mounted on social media.

Another added: “Anthony Joshua was late to Wembley Stadium against Daniel Dubois & didn’t look happy, either in the training room or during his ring walk.
“Tonight, Dubois is late to Wembley & he doesn’t look a happy bunny. Just an observation, in case history does repeat itself…”
One commented: “Dubois showing up kinda late…”
Another said: “Daniel Dubois clearly thought rocking up late at Wembley worked so well for Anthony Joshua last year that he should give it a go.”
Dubois, 27, heads into the fight having knocked out Joshua, 35, at Wembley in September.

OLEKSANDR USYK and Daniel Dubois meet again in a blockbuster heavyweight unification fight at Wembley Stadium THIS SATURDAY!
Usyk won the first fight in August 2023 via a ninth round KO – but only after Dubois knocked him to the canvas with a body blow that was ruled a low blow.
Dubois, 27, has improved massively since that first meeting, reeling off stunning wins over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua.

And AJ’s coach Ben Davison said arriving late on the day of the fight factored into Joshua’s performance.
Davison said on talkSPORT: “This isn’t an excuse, he’s never mentioned it and it’s not the reason we lost.
“He was very very late arriving to the dressing room before the fight for unforeseen circumstances.
“It was a major rush which wasn’t ideal. Maybe that had an impact on his ring walk, I can’t say yes or no.
“Again it’s not an excuse, but if what you guys were seeing is true, maybe the fact he was late then that didn’t help.
“The fights before we had an extremely long warm-up, this time it was the complete opposite.
“But this time it was a big rush, although it wasn’t why he lost.”
Dubois would go onto be twice dropped by Usyk before losing by fifth-round KO.
