IMAGINE your kids’ school being shut down because of fears they could be attacked in class.

Imagine switching on social media and seeing it full of undisguised and unpunished hate, and repeated calls for your extermination.
Imagine watching the Government and the police not just letting this all happen but then justifying their inaction as you sit frightened, isolated and powerless.
British Jews don’t have to imagine any of this.
Shamefully, in our multicultural tolerant democracy this has become all too real for them.
Fear in this community is now worse than at any point since the dark days of the Black Shirts in the 1930s.
Yet while Coronation Street is forced to offer extra security to its Jewish star Maureen Lipman, police officers merely look on as the leader of the Islamist Hizb ut-Tahrir group openly hails Hamas as heroes on our streets.
These fundamentalists — banned in 13 other countries — seek to unite Muslims under one Islamic caliphate.
They were not legitimately protesting in our capital — they were glorying in terrorism.
Hizb ut-Tahrir should have been proscribed in the UK years ago but successive Governments have failed to do so.
Is it any wonder that Jews feel unsafe in this country when this kind of hate mob is still being allowed to call for Muslim armies to invade Israel?

Five-star waste
AT last the Government has woken up to the sheer stupidity of spending tens of millions putting up illegal migrants in five-star hotels.
There was never any need to house them in plush wedding venues and seafront resorts.
