JOHN GOSDEN has pulled superstar Ombudsman from his blockbuster rematch with Delacroix in next weekend’s Irish Champion Stakes.

And the Juddmonte winner has been slashed in the markets for his new targets after the top trainer’s change of heart.

Juddmonte winner Ombudsman was big favourite to make it 2-1 in his battle with Aidan O’Brien’s Coral-Eclipse winner.

But he will miss the Leopardstown showdown and instead be aimed at Ascot’s Champions Day, the Breeders’ Cup and Japan Cup.
