KEELY HODGKINSON and Luke Littler stepped out onto the Sports Personality of The Year red carpet as they battle it out for the award.

Jessica Ennis-Hill also stunned in a green dress while she was joined on the carpet by rower Imogen Grant and cyclist Laura Kenny.

Runner Keely Hodgkinson is odds on to win after her gold medal at the Paris Olympics – three years after silver in Tokyo.

Darts sensation Luke Littler is second after his breakthrough year where he came second in the World Darts Championship.

But he avenged defeat against Luke Humphries to win the Premier League.

The 17-year-old stepped out on the red carpet wearing a black tuxedo.

Other outsiders are triathlete Alex Yee, cricketer Joe Root, cyclist and swimmer Sarah Storey and England star Jude Bellingham.

Last year’s winner was England Lionesses keeper Mary Earps.

Cricketer Stuart Broad came runners-up and athletics star Katarina Johnson-Thompson was third.
