A KOSOVAN drug dealer who bragged on Facebook about a prison party can stay in the UK as his daughter is too young for video calls.

Andi Shoshari, 34, was locked up in 2019 for three years over his role in a cocaine-peddling network.

The criminal posted a number of photos about his life behind bars – including snaps from a Christmas party complete with fizzy drinks and cocktail sausages.

Shoshari captioned the picture: “You can lock us up but you can’t stop us living it up.”

He has now won his fight against a deportation order as booting him out of Britain would be “unduly harsh” on his one-year-old daughter.

An immigration asylum court ruled deportation would breach Shoshari’s right to a family life under article eight of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

A judge found his daughter would be deprived of “very important” physical contact with him, Mail Online reports.

The Home Office had argued the pair could maintain their relationship through technology but this was thrown out.

The court ruled the youngster’s attention would not be held by “modern methods of communication” such as Zoom or FaceTime.

It also found that Shoshari’s British partner was pregnant with their second child and would find moving to Kosovo “bleak”.

But the Home Office said the “best interests of the child was not a trump card”.

It also argued that deportation would not be “unduly harsh” as Kosovo had changed since he left and he still has family there.

But the panel ruled Kosovo still had “security and socio-economic concerns” as well as “rampant corruption and instability”.

They concluded: “Navigating a new country and its health system, whilst pregnant, would be tough.

“Once one adds to this [her] complex and unfortunate medical history in pregnancy, having a very young child, her lack of familiarity with the culture, and the real instability and problems in the country this becomes extremely stressful and a highly bleak scenario.”

Shoshari, who came legally to Britain aged nine with his parents, has 12 convictions for 18 offences.

He began a relationship with his care worker partner in 2021 and the pair welcomed their first baby in March last year.

They are now expecting their second child together in June this year.

Shoshari was one of six people locked up in June 2019 for their role in the drug network.

Passing sentence at the time, Judge Jonathan Black said the racket was a “failed attempt to monopolise the supply of cocaine to others in the Woking area”.

After he was jailed, Shoshari posted numerous pictures from his cell while wearing Nike and Adidas gear.

The panel said: “We find [Mr Shoshari] has made out his case to the required standard that his deportation from the United Kingdom would be disproportionate.

“Applying the law as it stands today, we conclude that there are very compelling circumstances over and above the exceptions to deportation.”
