Brexit betrayers
SO here comes the Brexit betrayal. After months of denials, Labour IS ready to grant “free movement” once again to anyone under 30 from the EU.
Their reported “offer” has a few qualifications: A three-year limit, no benefits, an NHS charge and an overall cap.
GettyAs Keir Starmer does deals with Europe, Britain will again become an open border to millions of EU citizens and subservient to the ECJ[/caption]
But Brussels will simply reject those. It considers them offensive.
And, as the multi-billion-pound Chagos Islands debacle shows, our Government has zero negotiating skills.
Labour’s Remainers will give Brussels whatever it demands.
Worse, their insidious “reset” with the EU will also mean buckling forever to its rules on food safety and the climate.
Nine years since we voted to leave, independent Britain will again be subservient to the ECJ — a hostile foreign court to which we no longer belong and at which we are no longer represented.
The Government will dismiss our objections as hysterical. Don’t be fooled.
Remainers have long dreamed of incremental, supposedly harmless surrenders to Brussels which culminate in Brexit’s final, fatal reversal.
This is just the first.
Shame of BBC
FAR too late the BBC removes the Hamas propaganda masquerading as a balanced Gaza documentary.
It has no excuse. It claimed it had “full editorial control” over this outrage.
Since at least two of the four children featured had firm links to Hamas we doubt the BBC had a fraction of the control those genocidal butchers did.
As for the plight of kids in Gaza, consider the short and terrifying experience there of Kfir and Ariel Bibas.
A Jewish baby and toddler snatched from their home by masked gunmen, dragged into that hellscape and — it is now believed — murdered with a terrorist’s bare hands before being mutilated.
That is the true horror of the “resistance” which stirs the hearts of idiot leftists at the BBC and elsewhere.
A question, then, for boss Tim Davie:
Your staff used licence-payers’ money to commission and screen what proved to be propaganda for a terrorist mob.
When will the sackings begin?
Double woe 7
WE’D love Amazon to make a brilliant new Bond movie . . . but we fear the worst.
Their $1billion Lord of the Rings was a turgid mess with none of the magic of the Peter Jackson epics 20 years earlier.
Fans want a British 007 who’s a tough, womanising, wise-cracking, uncompromising, lethal spy taking down some threat to world peace. Not a gender-confused teetotal liberal tree-hugger terrified of his Aston’s CO2 emissions.
“Go woke, go broke” are wise words Amazon should remember.
Or they’ll have bought only a licence to kill the Bond franchise for good.
