Vote riggers

GIVING votes to kids is a naked attempt to twist democracy in Labour’s favour.

There’s no overwhelming clamour from the public for this. In fact, voters hate the idea

How can a 16-year-old be barred from watching a film, buying a pint, placing a bet or getting a tattoo — yet still be thought mature enough to decide who runs the country

No doubt there are politically aware, conscientious teenagers desperate to have their say.

But at 16 their life experience is negligible.

Many will never have had a full-time job or paid a bill and will have only just stopped running around the school playground at break-time.

Labour is banking on huge numbers of woke young minds turning Left.

Yet it’s Nigel Farage who is the most watched MP on Tik Tok.

Keir Starmer might end up getting a bloody nose from 16-and-17-year-old boys voting Reform

Labour is blatantly trying to rig our electoral system for its own gain.

But it could yet backfire.

Migrant crime

FOR years the Left accused anyone warning about the consequences of failing to stop the boats of being a racist.

Today the Sun reveals the shocking true scale of the illegal migrant crime surge caused by our wide-open borders

Rapes, sexual assaults, robbery, violent assaults and gun offences; all committed by migrants who have been put up in hotels at tax-payers’ expense

With hundreds more arriving every week that can only get worse.

Even as Keir Starmer met the German Chancellor yesterday to unveil the latest “plan” to seize dinghies, French police were once again waving migrant boats on their way across the Channel.

Without any proper deterrent we’re left at the mercy of more thuggery, criminality and violence towards women.

Brexit sellout

LABOUR’S grand “reset” of relations with the EU gets murkier.

Forget taking back control, Brussels will tell us how we should produce our food and other goods — so-called dynamic alignment.

Britain will have no say in any decisions made — and will have to accept rulings from the European Court of Justice

That makes us a rule-taker all over again.

And to cap it all, new documents released yesterday reveal the UK has to “provide financial support” for the new deal.

In other words, we now have to PAY to watch Brexit being sold out
