The newly-crowned Bundesliga champions have tabled a new contract offer to the former Manchester City forward.

However, the German international has stalled negotiations, putting Premier League clubs on red alert.

Bild reports that Bayern have given Sane, 29, a “10-day ultimatum” to take their offer of a new deal or decide to leave the club on a free transfer.

The German outlet claims that Bayern will not negotiate any further on the terms of the deal.

As such, Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea‘s ears have pricked up, with both London clubs in the market for a new wide man this summer.

Sane has recently switched agents as he assesses hisnext steps.

Bayern manager Vincent Kompany, a former team-mate of Sane’s at City, said in April that Sane and his advisors had to “sit down with the club and make a joint decision”.

However, that mutual agreement has still not happened.
