POPPY Day terrorist Emad Jamil Al-Swealmeen detonated a bomb outside a Liverpool hospital after his asylum claims were turned down, a probe has revealed.

The Jordanian, 32, blew himself to bits with a home-made ball-bearing device on November 14, 2021.

He had taken a taxi from his bomb lair home to the local Liverpool Women’s Hospital.

Now a police investigation has revealed he had a grievance against the British state for failing to accept his asylum claim and that, combined with mental ill health, is likely to have led him to carry out the attack.
