Luckiest birth date is revealed… as those born on certain day named most likely to win a bet, according to survey  

PEOPLE born on June 8 are the most fortunate in the UK – when it comes to winning a bet, according to new data.

August 1 and December 1 are the next luckiest birth dates, with those aged between 18 and 24 the jammiest generation.

The towns of Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria, Goodwick in Pembrokeshire, and Ilminster in Somerset are home to the most fortunate folks.

And 9pm on a Friday evening is the luckiest time to place a bet, according to Lottoland.co.uk, which analysed 12 months of betting data.

Customers named Archie and Vivian had the most luck, with Vera, Candice, Laurie, Claudio and Chad also highly fortunate.

After reviewing the data of UK customers who have placed bets over the last 12 months, a ratio was created between wins and the amount of total bets placed to see who and where had the best results.

A spokesperson for Lottoland, which compiled the data ahead of the US Powerball draw on Thursday, said: “For the superstitious among us, we’ve been able to put together quite the profile of Lottoland’s most fortunate customers this year.

“If you happen to be a June baby, are called Archie or Vivian and live in one of these charmed places like Kirkby Stephen, you might just want to take advantage of your lucky traits and see if you can win some serious money.”
