Yet all eyes were on The Nuke after he claimed the Belgian Darts Masters on Sunday.

Littler produced his perfect finish on his way to a deciding-leg 6-5 victory over Adam Hunt in round two on Tuesday afternoon.

It was the fifth nine-darter of Littler’s professional career as he is hit 180, 180, 141 going the standard route for perfection.

The world champion did so to break against Hunt and go 4-2 up, but he was broken straight back after the high of the perfect leg.

Of Littler’s four other professional nine-darters, three were on TV– most memorably in the Premier League Darts final against Luke Humphries at the O2 on his way to lifting the trophy last season.

Littler had fought back from 3-0 down in the previous round to beat Niko Springer 6-5 at the fifth floor tournament of the year at the Players Championship.

Meanwhile, Anderson’s threw his eighth nine-darter at the PDC.

The Flying Scotsman hit it in the tenth leg in the first round against Joyce and was trailing 4-5 at the time.

In the deciding leg he threw a 16-darter, winning the match 6-5, with a 102 average.

It comes after two-nine dart finishes were thrown on Night 5 of Premier League Darts action last Thursday.

Humphries and Rob Cross rocked Brighton with two stunning 100 per cent leg check-outs.

The pair faced off in the quarter-final, which Cross won, but their perfect throws came in separate matches.

But remarkably, for all that effort, both Humphries and Cross would later bow out and go on to LOSE those matches.

Littler went onto win on the south-coast, after beating Nathan Aspinall in the final.
