The world champion is due in action at the Flanders Darts Trophy in Belgium this weekend.
Ranked as the No1 seed, Littler is due to enter in the second round, where he will play one of Dylan Slevin or Francois Schweyen on Saturday at 6pm BST.
However, in the early hours of Friday morning, Littler shared a photo to his story alongside girlfriend Faith Millar.
On the snap, he shared his ordeal, admitting that he may be forced to miss out on the tournament.
He said: “In pain for hours and hours so had to get a tooth out. Luckily they were able to do it and sort me out but hopefully it’s all good for Saturday.
“Everyone knows I love Belgium and hopefully I can play my best darts.”
Littler went on to issue a warning to fans who might approach him at the airport: “I don’t know how I’m going to be feeling in the morning or whether I’m gonna be in a little bit of pain.
“But if you see me in airport I’m just gonna have my airpods in and I’m gonna be doing my own thing.

“So don’t be saying I’m arrogant because I’m not, I’ve never had this done and I don’t know how I’m gonna be feeling but right now.
“But right now I’m in shock and shaken as I didn’t know what to expect.”
Littler thanked the staff at Night and Day Emergency Dentist, adding: “I can’t thank you enough.”
The 18-year-old also sweetly added an “I love you” remark to his post aimed at partner, Faith.
Littler was eliminated from the Flanders Trophy in the third round when he ran into Dutchman Dirk van Duijvenbode, whom he lost to 6-2.
