LUKE LITTLER kept his hopes of winning a first darts major alive with a 10-5 win over Dave Chisnall.

Chizzy raced into an early lead but the 17-year-old showed experience beyond his years to keep composed and power ahead to seal his spot in the quarter-finals.

Littler threw three 180s and an average of 103.38.

The teen sensation took to the oche three times today – first beating James Wade 10-7.

He then edged through a tough test put up by Martin Schindler.

Quarter-final action from Minehead takes place tomorrow – followed by the semis and final.
