LUKE LITTLER’S girlfriend could not hide her delight as the world champion beat Gerwyn Price in an epic battle to secure a huge pay day.

Littler, 18, somehow survived from two sets down and three match darts down in their World Grand Prix quarter-final as the Iceman lost his cool.

In a wretched final deciding leg in the fifth set, Littler eventually produced the goods when it mattered most.

He checked out a brilliant 152 before letting out an almighty roar in celebration, pumping his fists in delight.

The TV cameras then cut to the friends and family section of the Mattioli Arena in Leicester.

There, Littler’s partner Faith Millar was all smiles as she shared a warm hug with another lady, possibly Littler’s mum Lisa.

Faith was decked out in a baggy cream fleece for the evening’s entertainment in the East Midlands.

And she will no doubt be back on Saturday night for Littler’s semi-final with Jonny Clayton.

That follows Luke Humphries’ clash against Danny Noppert.

Littler’s progression to the final four of the unique ‘double in’ event guaranteed him a cheque for £40,000.

The runner-up takes home £60,000 while the winner bags a whopping £120,000.

Littler – who is chasing down Humphries as darts’ world No1 – has been together with Faith since February.

She joined the Littler family on holiday in Spain at the beginning of the summer and regularly gives her man a good-luck kiss on the walk to the oche.

And amid the busyness of his schedule, Littler has promised to carve time out to whisk Faith away next year.

He told Darts News: “I didn’t have the chance this year. Last year I managed to, but this year has just been full-on.

“That comes with winning the Worlds – more to do, more people to talk to.

“But in 2026, there’ll definitely be a few holidays for me.

“I’ll take the time to go away with my girlfriend and family, without even thinking about darts.”
