A LUXURY doomsday bunker designed to boost wellness and longevity is set to open next year with AI healthcare and luxury living.
The Aerie complex will be one of a network of luxury fortified underground bunkers that will be a safe haven for all residents.

It was dreamed up by Virginia-based company Safe (Strategically Armored & Fortified Environments) which has pushed the design boundaries for the private homes of preppers.
Their work includes installing fiery lakes, shotgun walls and water cannons.
Now, those who have deep pockets will be able to buy a residence in Safe’s network of 1,000 subterranean homes that are set to be built across the globe.
Aerie, the first bunker of its kind, is scheduled to open next year in Virginia, the wealthiest state per capita.
This is vital because construction will cost a whopping $300 million and prospective buyers will have to dig deep with Aerie’s memberships costing up to $20 million each.
There is also a limited number of memberships with enough for just 625 people.
SAFE’s director of medical preparedness, Naomi Corbi, said there are different membership tiers available, the cheapest of which can be afforded by a moderately successful CEO.
The most expensive option, known as the Asylum Membership, is invite-only and the requirements to be eligible are still being fine-tuned by the creators of the bunker.
But, these multi-millionaires will be living a life of luxury while being in one of the most secure buildings in the world.
Residences will range from 2,000-square-foot suites for individuals to underground penthouses that are multi level and over 20,000 square feet.
While the secure Aerie complex will not have water cannons, the fortified base will offer security not even seen by world leaders.
Safe told Forbes: “These residences include multi-layer bio metric authentication and impenetrable tactical man traps, going beyond security for even world leaders.
“Aerie ensures members can travel confidently, knowing they’re protected no matter where they are.”
The only space above ground will be the rooftop penthouse that will be “the pinnacle of exclusivity, resilience, and luxury.”
Despite being at risk to all of the elements, the fortified space will have blast-resistant walls, ballistic glass and advanced defences.
In addition to this, there will be interior hardened elevators that can quickly transport those inside down to their subterranean homes which could be as far as 200 feet below the ground.
These underground spaces will have interactive walls and ceilings to help give the impression that those inside are not deep underground with the designers having a key focus on the mental health of clients.
It will be able to project panoramic views suited to the desires of residents such as the view from a cliff top or from the top of a building in a city at night.

The underground swimming pool and other luxury areas will all be equipped with the same technology allowing those in the pool to feel as if they are in an infinity pool on a rooftop anywhere in the world.
Health and well being are a top priority for the team behind Aerie.
As well as considering the mental health of clients, Safe is planning to install medical suites into all of its complexes.
They will include MediShield pods which are fully functioning intensive care units offering live-saving care with AI technology to continuously monitor patients and assist if outside medical help is not an option.
The medical spaces will be so well-equipped, clients will be no worse off than the president, Safe has said.
“The company’s team of highly specialized medical professionals will deliver the same standards of the White House Medical Unit straight to you,” they told Forbes.
“The cutting-edge robotic services provide top-tier medical care and emergency response, regardless of location.”
Director of Medical Preparedness for Safe, Naomi Corbi, said: “The wealthy are becoming more interested in wellness and longevity offerings as part of their fortified residences.
“Aerie will utilise advanced AI-integrated medical care, connecting members to specialists around the clock.”
As well as providing both standard and emergency medical care, there is also a major focus on boosting health and longevity before medical attention is needed.
Aerie will offer wellness programs and amenities including a hyperbaric chamber, ice plunge room, IV Therapy room, and massage space managed by robots.
Al Corbi, Safe’s founder and president said: “The whole reason Aerie came to be is that after building multimillion-dollar sanctuaries for our clients on their estates and superyachts, they still traveled away from their protected homes to locations with a lower level of protection.
“When something terrible happens, they can use one of the bunkers and facilities in the city they find themselves in.
“Each facility features AI-powered medical suites, gourmet dining, and wellness programs, which will blend protection and luxury.”
“We are creating sanctuaries and doomsday bunkers to prepare for the unthinkable,” he added.
“Every defence is designed to protect your family. The future may be uncertain, but your safety will never be in these protected bunkers.”
Corbi previously spoke to The Sun about his most unusual builds and the one thing the super-rich always want.
