It comes as millions of drivers are facing down travel chaos this weekend as the bank holiday begins.

Traffic officers are in attendance and dealing with the disruption.

Police said diversions had been set up which may cause congestion on the busy motorway.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area while the situation is dealt with.
