A MAN found dead after a house fire was stabbed to death, a post-mortem has revealed.

Zbigniew Wasiak, 59, was found dead inside the home on Wootton Avenue, Fletton, Peterborough, at around 3.35am on Sunday.

A joint police and fire service investigation concluded an accelerant was used by a third party to set the property alight.

Two men aged 35 were arrested on suspicion of murder following the horror incident.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary have since made a further two arrests after confirming that Wasiak had died from a stab wound to his neck.

A 29-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man have now been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Both men are from Peterborough and remain in custody at Thorpe Wood police station alongside the two individuals arrested earlier in the week the force said.
