COPS have arrested a man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a child suffered serious injuries and died in hospital.
The kid was found in a critical condition in a home in Darlington, County Durham, at around 9am on Friday.

A child was taken to Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle in a critical conditionNNP
Police, paramedics and an air ambulance rushed to the scene were on Frosterley Drive and the child was rushed to hospital.
The child later died of their injuries.
Durham Constabulary spokesperson said: “Sadly, the child passed away this afternoon.
“A man in his 30s has also been arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing serious injury to a child, and has been further arrested for murder.
“A woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing serious injury to a child.
“Both remain in police custody while further inquiries are carried out.”
