A MAN has been found dead days after being “assaulted” outside a seaside hotel as cops launch an urgent probe.
Police responded to calls from a property in Redhill Avenue, Bournemouth, at around 8.07pm on Friday, February 28.

Officers discovered the body of a man in his 60s who was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was reported he had been attacked outside the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel in East Overcliff at around 1pm on Tuesday, February 25.
His cause of death is currently being treated as “unexplained”.
Further tests have been ordered after an initial post-mortem examination on Sunday.
Dorset Police arrested a 46-year-old man, from Bournemouth, on suspicion of murder.
He has since been released on conditional police bail while the investigation continues.
Detective Inspector Shaun Inkpen, of MCIT, said: “Our thoughts continue to remain with the loved ones of the man who sadly died and we are keeping them updated with the latest developments.
“The investigation is still in the early stages and we are going to be continuing our work to establish the cause of the man’s death and whether there is any link to the reported assault.
“I am still urging anyone who was near to the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel at around 1pm on Tuesday 25 February 2025 and saw anything that may assist my enquiries to please come forward.
“The cordon in East Overcliff has now been removed and we would like to thank the public for their understanding while this was in place.
“We would encourage anyone with information or concerns to please speak with their local neighbourhood policing team.”
