TWO TEENAGERS and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was killed in a hit-and-run.

The victim, who is in his 20s, died after a black Range Rover collided with his motorbike in Bournemouth, Dorset, at around 2am on Wednesday.

Dorset Police is also now desperately appealing for witnesses after the horrific collision.

The Range Rover failed to stop at the crash site, and the motorcyclist was tragically pronounced dead at the scene – his family have now been informed.

Two boys, both aged 17, were quickly arrested on suspicion of murder, as was a 36-year-old woman.

Detective Inspector Mark Jenkins, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “Firstly, our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim during this difficult time.

“Detectives have already carried out a number of lines of enquiry in relation to the collision and are now undertaking an investigation to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

“I would ask any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, anyone who may have captured relevant dashcam footage, or residents in the area with relevant CCTV or doorbell footage, to please come forward.”

DI Jenkins added: “Also, I am keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the manner of driving of the vehicle involved prior to the incident.

“A detailed scene examination is currently taking place in Moore Avenue and I would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding during the road closure.”
