COPS have launched an urgent investigation after a man was allegedly raped on a beach promenade.
The incident reportedly took place in Margate, Kent, between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on January 21.

The attack was said to have happened just a few metres away from the Jubilee Play Park – a popular children’s playground.
Kent Police said: “The victim reported that he had been walking on the promenade between the Lido and Newgate Gap near Ethelbert Crescent when he was approached by another man and the assault took place.
“The suspect is described as slim, under 5ft 5ins and aged in his early 20s.
“It is believed he was wearing a black hooded coat, black tracksuit, and black trainers.
“Detectives are carrying out enquiries at the scene.”
Cops are appealing for information and have asked for anyone who might have information, dashcam, or private CCTV footage to contact Kent Police.
