THERE was mass confusion at Erik ten Hag’s press conference as he appeared to say Jadon Sancho is back for Manchester United’s Champions League clash versus Copenhagen.
It led to the club having to clarify which player is actually returning to the squad.

Sancho and Ten hag had a public fall out after he was left out of the squad against Arsenal on September 3.
The winger claimed he was made a “scapegoat” by his manager after his performances in training were criticised.
Crisis talks were then held with Sancho refusing to apologise to the Dutchman.
He was therefore demoted to the Man Utd youth-team and banned from using the senior side’s facilities.
And fans suddenly thought he was back in the picture amid confusion at Ten Hag’s pre match press conference.
It sounded like the boss said “Sancho” is back but it turns out he meant “Sergio” in reference to Sergio Reguilon being fit again.
The left-back has missed the last five matches with injury and illness.
Ten Hag said: “Yes, we hope, Sergio, he got ill for Saturday.

“He was fit, he trained all week last week.
“Today he will train and we will have to assess if he’s ready.”
Fans laughed as rumours spread that the banished star was returning, one said: “It did sound like Sancho.”
Another added: “The shock on everyone’s face in the presser when Ten Hag said Sergio but it sounded exactly like Sancho.”
A third reacted: “Even Sancho got shocked.”
Ten Hag also revealed ahead of the crucial clash against Copenhagen tomorrow that Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Kobbie Mainoo are nearing returns.
There was no update on Jonny Evans after he appeared to pick up a knock in the 2-1 win over Sheffield United on Saturday.
