MANCHESTER UNITED have changed a player’s name on the club’s official website and after a request was made by his family.

Dorgu’s full name now graces his profile on the United website, team-sheets, and the squad list in the United Review programme.

Dorgu’s parents originate from Nigeria — and Chinazaekpere roughly translates from Igbo as ‘God answers prayers’.
The 20-year-old made the move to United from Lecce during the winter transfer window for £29million.
United published an article detailing Dorgu’s journey to Old Trafford on Monday.
The statement began: “Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu has been a Manchester United player for only a matter of weeks but the early signs have been encouraging.
“One of four children, Patrick – who has a Christian middle name – is surrounded by a family who is religious but also embedded in sport, with two brothers who are footballers and a sister who plays handball.”
The club also revealed that Dorgu was a Chelsea fan as a boy and idolised former Stamford Bridge star Eden Hazard.

Dorgu featured prominently in Denmark‘s Nations League clashes against Portugal last week.
He assisted Christian Eriksen‘s simple finish in Denmark‘s heavy 5-2 loss in Lisbon on Sunday evening.
Dorgu has made six appearances under Ruben Amorim but was banned for three games following a red card in the 3-2 win over Ipswich last month.
