Neither President Donald Trump nor the White House have confirmed the reports.

The bombshell outing, which was reported by CBS News on Thursday, comes weeks after Waltz took blame for the Signal group chat scandal, where top Trump administration officials discussed sensitive imminent military strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen.

The group chat included more than a dozen defense and intelligence officials from the Trump administration, including Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, among others.

However, what the members of the group failed to realize was that The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg was also mistakenly added to the chat.
