A MISSING pensioner has returned home safe after she went missing walking her dog.
Linda, 76, was seen on Bluebell Drive around 4.34pm before cops launched an urgent probe into her disappearance.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police has since confirmed that she has been found.
It follows Linda’s granddaughter posting on social media and urging anyone in the local area to help find her.
She described how cops and a helicopter were in pursuit to help speed up the investigation.
Locals have since revealed their relief at her safe return.
One person commented: “So glad she’s home safe.”
Another put: “That’s amazing news so glad there both safe x”
Someone else said: “Thank god shes home xxxx”
Greater Manchester Police previously released a statement urging anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Linda, 76, is described as being 5ft2, of medium build, with white short hair and wearing a dark purple overcoat.
“She is with her dog Oscar, who is described as a fawn-coloured medium size dog.
“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for their welfare and want to make sure they are found safe and well.
“Anyone with information about Linda’s whereabouts should contact police on 101 quoting log 2670 of March 30 2025.”
