MMA fighter Feng Xiaocan was rushed to hospital after suffering a brutal knockout loss.

The Chinese strawweight locked horns with countrywoman Ming Shi in the finale of the Road to UFC tournament in Macau, which took place on the undercard of UFC Fight Night 248 on Saturday morning.

And she was brutally knocked out thanks to a vicious head kick and some ground and pound in the third round of their 115lbs showdown.

The octagon-side doctor quickly rushed in to tend to the fallen Feng, who suffered her third-ever loss.

Feng was worryingly down for several minutes, which prompted medics to place her on a stretcher and rush her to the hospital.

A victorious Shi showed her class in her post-fight interview by wishing her opponent a speedy recovery, saying: “I feel really happy and I worry about my opponent.

“I hope she is OK. She is young.

“I think I’m going to be a dangerous opponent in the future.

“Good luck to my next opponent.”
