He dropped back down to middleweight to settle his long-standing rivalry Kristofic following years of trash talk.

But the bout years in the making lasted only a round as Kristofic landed a devastating combination that left Vemola out for the count.

The Czech Republic legend folded and hit the deck with the referee immediately diving in to prevent any further damage.

Vemola – who lives with sharks, lions and crocodiles at home with his Playboy model wife Lela – needed medical assistance following the KO.

He was unable to make it to his feet as fans were left stunned by the stoppage.

One said: “Pirát’ Krištofič with a super late entry for KO of the Year.”

Another added: “I mean my god. Vemola fell in slow motion.”

One said: “Brutal knockout and beautiful reffing.”

Vemola had come into the bout having won the light-heavyweight title with a SEVEN SECOND knockout in October.

And he is due to headline at Prague’s Fortuna Arena football stadium in a rematch against Attila Vegh in June.

But it remains to be seen whether Vemola – who lost to Vegh in 2019 – will be fit for the rerun.
