A DOZEN men who worked for disgraced Mohamed Fayed have lodged claims of abuse.

They have alleged bullying, harassment and homophobic abuse by the former Harrods boss.

Some department store staff and men who worked elsewhere in Fayed’s empire have said they suffered post-traumatic stress disorder and recurring trauma due to their experiences.

The Justice for Harrods Survivors group is dealing with the claims of more than 420 women who say they were sexually abused or raped by Fayed.

A source said: “There are a number of men now involved in the legal action, although the type of abuse is different.

“A lot of them have given similar accounts of being bullied, demeaned and being unfairly dismissed or demoted because of Fayed.

“They often had to leave after speaking up.”

Fayed, who died last year aged 94, was outed as a serial sexual predator in September.

Harrods has apologised and is dealing with more than 250 claims.

The Met Police is currently probing 60 sex abuse reports and Surrey detectives are investigating one alleged attack.

The Justice for Harrods Survivors group declined to comment.

Harrods was contacted.
