SHOCKING footage has captured the moment a rowdy passenger was arrested by cops after a flight was diverted to a popular UK airport.
The Jet2 flight, which took off from Leeds Bradford at 6.41pm last night, was heading for the Spanish hotspot of Alicante when it had to make a dramatic U-turn just 100 miles in.

The plane was flying above Leicester when a “disruptive incident” erupted onboard involving a foul-mouthed passenger.
Stunned travellers were left fuming as the flight – carrying up to 188 passengers – was delayed by around four hours after the Boeing 737 was forced to return back to Leeds Airport.
Footage from onboard shows a 30-year-old man dressed in an orange T-shirt and jeans, smirking and taunting fellow passengers in the aisle.
He is then seen shouting: “Put your phone down and fight one on one.”
One passenger had jumped out of their seat, while others could be heard trying to calm the situation, warning the man he’d get kicked off.
The yob responded by sticking out his tongue and pounding his chest before going on a foul-mouthed rant.
Another traveller tried to reason with fellow holidaymakers: “Don’t rise to it. Let him get chucked off.”
Moments later, cheers erupted as uniformed cops stormed the plane at Leeds Bradford.
Laughter and jeers rang out as passengers spotted officers boarding, with one saying: “Look behind ya, lad! Look behind ya, big boy! You w****r!”
The troublemaker’s cocky grin was wiped clean as he spotted police heading his way.
He briefly squared up to another man onboard before passengers began yelling: “Arrest him now!”
The whole plane broke into applause as he was finally hauled off, with one person shouting: “In a bit, lad!”
Footage from outside the aircraft shows him being spoken to by three officers on the tarmac, with one appearing to search him.
Cops confirmed to The Sun that the man was charged with entering an aircraft while drunk.
He was bailed to appear before Leeds magistrates on Monday, 8 September.
The passenger has also received a six-month flying ban, Jet2 confirmed.
The plane was forced to stay on the ground until it eventually took off again at around 11pm, more than four hours after its scheduled departure time.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson told The Sun: “A 30-year-old man from Doncaster has been charged with entering an aircraft while drunk.
“He has been bailed to appear before Leeds magistrates on Monday, 8 September.”
A Jet2 spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a disruptive passenger has received a six-month flying ban with us, following their appalling behaviour which led to flight LS491 from Leeds Bradford to Alicante having to return to Leeds Bradford so that police could offload them.
“As a family friendly airline, we take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive passenger behaviour.”
