THIS is the chilling moment a mum accused of murdering her son allegedly spun a web of lies to cops as medics tried in vain to save the toddler.
Christina Robinson, 30, allegedly caused a fatal head injury to three-year-old Dwelaniyah at the family home in Ushaw Moor, Durham, in November 2022.

She is also accused of deliberately scalding his legs and buttocks and hitting him with a bamboo cane.
Jurors at Newcastle Crown Court were shown body worn footage of Robinson giving an initial account to police at her home while attempts were made to revive the youngster in the next room.
They have also been played a 999 call made by Robinson after Dwelaniyah became unconscious at their home in November 2022.
In the video, Christina can be heard saying, “We were just downstairs and he was eating his food and then all of a sudden there was like a splutter in his eyes and then he sort of just went limp.
“I didn’t know what was going on. I thought he was messing around because he doesn’t chew his food very well.
“I didn’t really notice straight away and then when I saw he went a bit limp I thought let me rush him upstairs and try CPR.
“I’d been working on him for maybe 5-10 minutes.”
When asked by the officer how long Dwelaniyah had allegedly been struggling with his food, Christina replies, “I don’t even know. Maybe a few seconds.”
Jurors also heard the call to the emergency services made by Robinson.
In the call, she tells the operator the youngster is not breathing and that he was eating and his “eyes just want all weird and then…”.
She goes on to say she has being doing CPR and is told an emergency ambulance is on the way.
Prosecutors allege Robinson inflicted a fatal head injury but she claimed her son had choked on a cheese sandwich.
She also said the Bible told her she was allowed to chastise her child.
Jurors have heard Dwelaniyah was in Robinson’s sole care as his father – the defendant’s husband – was away serving with the RAF.
She was pregnant at the time having used a sperm donor and was having an affair with a man she met online, the court has heard.
Robinson denies murder and child cruelty.
The trial continues.
