THIS is the moment protesters shout “you have blood on your hands” at David Lammy as he speaks at a vigil for the Manchester attack victims.

Lammy was met with shouts of “shame on you” and boos as he was introduced by the local Rabbi at the emotional service.

The deputy Prime Minister was asked to say a few words in the wake of a terror attack at a synagogue which killed two Jewish people.

As Lammy was called to speak he was met by grieving members of the Jewish community in Manchester.

One person shouted: “Go to Palestine but leaves us alone.”

At this point, Rabbi Adlstone intervened saying: “All right, we’ve heard enough.

“We know how you feel. I know how I feel – let’s give the time for our deputy Prime Minister to address us.”

Another protester shouted “my children’s school was closed today – you allowed this to happen”.

Much of the anger appeared to be at Lammy due to the recent move by the UK government to recognise a Palestinian state.

The deputy prime minister responded to the shouts which continued throughout his speech.

He called on the Jewish community to “stand in grief, in solidarity and in defiance”.

Adding: “I know this about Britain’s Jewish community, a community I have known all of my life – you are strong, you are resilient, and you will never be cowed.

“And that’s what I want you to know today, that our country, those of all colours, all faiths and none, stand with you. We stand with you against terrorism.”

Melvin Cravitz, 66, and Adrian Daulby, 53, were killed in the horror attack that unfolded outside Heaton Park synagogue in Manchester at around 9.30am on Thursday.

Police named the attacker as 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, a British citizen of Syrian descent who came to the UK as a “very small child”.

Cops confirmed that the attack was declared a terrorist incident and an investigation into the horror is being led by Counter Terrorist Officers.

Three people – two men in their 30s and a woman in her 60s – have been arrested after cops raided a nearby residential street.

The trio are being held on suspicion of commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism
