A MUM has been arrested on suspicion of murdering her five-month-old baby after she was found in a “serious condition” in a park.
The infant was found in a pram within Woodhouse Moor park in Leeds, West Yorkshire, at around 5.44pm on Wednesday.

She was rushed to hospital by emergency services, but was tragically pronounced dead a short time later.
The child’s cause of death has not been confirmed by police.
The parkland was today sealed off as police officers and forensics teams were seen meticulously combing the area.
Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle said: “The death of a child in these circumstances is clearly a very tragic incident and we are carrying out enquiries to get a complete picture of what has occurred.
“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the park around this time and who witnessed anything or who has any information that could assist the investigation.”
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police added: “At 5.44pm yesterday a woman contacted police reporting a baby in a serious condition in an area of Woodhouse Moor park at the junction of Clarendon Road and Moorland Road in Leeds.
“Officers attended and the five-month-old girl was taken to hospital by ambulance for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead a short time later.
“A scene was put in place for forensic examination and detectives from West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are leading the investigation.”
Woodhouse Moor is a large public park about a mile north-west of Leeds city centre, within an inner-city residential area.
Around 26 hectares in area, it is a hugely popular area with students and is bordered by a large number of student digs.
